Chicago Makeup School is where artists come to build real skills, find their style, and start a career they’re excited about.

Our Professional Artistry Program is a makeup-focused experience led by working artists who know the industry. You’ll learn the fundamentals, experiment across different areas of makeup, get a peek into multiple creative paths, and understand how the business side really works.

We’re a makeup-only school. In Illinois, makeup artistry on its own does not require state licensure, so Chicago Makeup School is not licensed as a cosmetology or esthetics school. We do not teach esthetics, cosmetology, or any program that requires state licensing, and our training does not prepare students for state licensing exams.

Chicago Makeup School is approved by the Division of Private Business and Vocational Schools of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE.)

Chicago Makeup School is not accredited by a US Department of Education recognized accrediting body.
