Meet the Owner

Nini Jenkins, a makeup artist, entrepreneur and educator calls the vibrant city of Chicago her home. Originally from Georgia in Eastern Europe, Nini came to Chicago with a dream, a passion and determination to build a new life.

This passion and relentless hard work resulted in becoming an established and a respected professional in the industry, including being a proud member of IATSE476, 

As an educator and working makeup artist, Nini saw a need for a makeup school in the city that offered not only fundamentals, but every detail it takes to become a freelance makeup artist.  This lead her to open Chicago Makeup School, an institution dedicated to nurturing  makeup artists on all levels and provide them with the knowledge, skills, and guidance needed to excel in their craft.
